David B. Levin - Luxenburg & Levin
In May of 1992, Mr. Levin graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the state courts
of Ohio, West Virginia and Illinois, and in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Ohio, Southern District of Ohio,
Southern District of West Virginia, Northern District of Indiana and Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Levin began his legal career in 1992, working in private practice and as in-house counsel for a multi-corporation business before
founding the Law Office of David B. Levin, P.C. which he operated until 1998. In his practice, Mr. Levin in part represented the rights
of tenants in disputes with their landlords.
In 1998, Mr. Levin was pivotal in the formation of the Ohio division of one of the nation's largest "lemon law" firms, managing their
Ohio practice until 2006. During that time period, Mr. Levin managed more than 2,500 cases involving defective vehicles and automobile
dealership fraud. Since 1998, Mr. Levin's main area of concentration in his practice has been in the area of consumer protection litigation.
He has been involved, throughout the entire State of Ohio, in all aspects of the litigation of consumer law cases, including pre-suit
negotiations through settlement. To date, Mr. Levin has personally first-chaired over 25 trials, including many jury trials involving
defective vehicles. He has also participated in the appeal of more than 15 cases throughout Ohio. Over 99% of the "lemon law" cases
managed by Mr. Levin have settled without going to trial.
Recently Mr. Levin was chosen by Thomson-West, one of the nation's largest legal publishing companies, as the co-author of the Ohio
Lemon Law chapter of the Ohio Consumer Law book for the second straight year. This text is intended to be a comprehensive guide for
lawyer's throughout Ohio on handling Ohio Lemon Law claims.
Mitchel E. Luxenburg - Luxenburg & Levin
In May of 1999, Mr. Luxenburg graduated from the University of Akron School of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November
of 1999. In December of 2001, Mr. Luxenburg was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District
of Ohio. Beginning in January of 1999, Mr. Luxenburg was employed as an associate with an AV-Rated (best rating) complex commercial
civil litigation firm in Summit County, Ohio, representing the interests of both commercial plaintiffs and defendants throughout
Northeast Ohio. His responsibilities included all phases of litigation, from researching and drafting causes of action to researching
and drafting appellate court briefs.
In 2001, Mr. Luxenburg joined one of the nation's largest "lemon law" firms, managing their Cleveland office until his departure
in 2003, at which time he founded the Law Office of Mitchel Luxenburg. Since 2001, Mr. Luxenburg's practice has concentrated mainly
in the area of consumer protection litigation. He has been involved, throughout the entire State of Ohio, in all aspects of the
litigation of consumer law cases, including pre-suit negotiations through settlement. To date, Mr. Luxenburg has personally first-chaired
16 jury trials and argued nine cases in Ohio appellate courts. He has personally successfully negotiated settlements for more than 500
consumers throughout the State of Ohio.
In 2008, Mr. Luxenburg argued before the Ohio Supreme Court in the case of David Curl v. Volkswagen of America, Inc. This was only
the third case accepted for review by the Ohio Supreme Court relating to the Ohio Lemon Law.
Mr. Luxenburg graduated from Kent State University in December of 1994 and August of 1997 with his Bachelors and Masters of Business
Administration degrees, respectively. While at Kent State, Mr. Luxenburg was recognized with several leadership awards and appointed by
Governor George Voinovich to serve a two-year term on the Kent State University Board of Trustees, where he worked closely with and
advised University administrators on campus issues and policies.
Jonathan E. Agin
Jonathan Eric Agin was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Agin graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor's Degree in
Communications and a minor in History. After spending two years as an account executive and marketing representative for a
Fortune 500 company, he then attended Case Western Reserve School of Law where he received a Juris Doctor. While at Case
Western Reserve School of Law, Mr. Agin was an Associate on the Case Western Reserve Law Review and later served as a Contributing Editor.
Mr. Agin focuses his practice on cases involving medical malpractice, general liability matters including, security cases,
premises liability matters, auto torts, construction cases and insurance coverage.
Since receiving his Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Agin has been a trial attorney in Washington, DC. Prior to forming Taylor
Sylla & Agin, LLP, Mr. Agin practiced for a large worldwide law firm. Mr. Agin has acted as lead trial counsel in numerous
civil matters in Washington, DC and Maryland. Additionally, Mr. Agin has successfully mediated and arbitrated several large
medical malpractice and general liability cases in both Washington, DC and Maryland. Mr. Agin has also argued before the
District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
Mr. Agin additionally serves on the Board of Directors of Reef Relief based out
of Key West, Florida. Reef Relief is a non-profit grassroots organization that seeks to conserve coral reefs and educate people about
threats to these natural resources.
Mr. Agin is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, The United States District Court for the District of
Columbia, The United States District Court for the District of Maryland and The Supreme Court of the United States of America.
M. Lynette Hartsell
Ms. Hartsell graduated from the North Carolina Central School of Law in 1981 and was admitted to the North Carolina
Bar in 1981. She opened the Law Office of M. Lynette Hartsell, on Ninth Street in Durham, North Carolina in 1981. In
1982 she was admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District in North Carolina and she was
subsequently admitted to the District of North Carolina and the Western District of North Carolina.
Her private practice continues to serve clients across North Carolina. Over the course of 29 years she has represented
clients from a diverse community involving a broad array of cases, both criminal and civil. In addition to trial advocacy,
Ms. Hartsell has argued cases in the North Carolina Courts of Appeals. During the course of her practice, she has enjoyed
associations with other attorneys and law firms involved in complex litigation and appeals which have explored a wide
variety of legal issues.
Ms. Hartsell has served as a Mediator and Arbitrator in Superior Court matters in numerous counties in North Carolina.
She continues to enjoy a close relationship with the North Carolina Central University School of Law where she served as
President of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association and served for nine years on the Board of Directors of the
Alumni Association. Over the course of three decades Ms. Hartsell has served on numerous non-profit advisory boards involved
in civic activities.
Kyle Salyer
Mr. Salyer graduated with a double major in History and English, with Honors, from Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Passes, Kentucky.
While at Alice Lloyd College, Kyle received the 2003 Award for Excellence for the History Department and won a Billie and Curtis
Owens Writing Award. Kyle then attended the Valparaiso University School of Law, from which he graduated in 2006. While in law
school, Kyle clerked for the Honorable William Alexa, Indiana Superior Court, Division 2.
Since his law school graduation, Mr. Salyer has primarily practiced in the area of general civil litigation, including commercial
motor vehicle accidents, car accidents, medical malpractice cases, commercial litigation, workers compensation and social
security/disability hearings, almost all of which were on behalf of plaintiffs or injured parties.
Kyle has been admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Kentucky, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and
Western Districts of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member of the American
Association for Justice, the Kentucky Justice Association, the American Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and the
Johnson County (Ky.) Bar Association.Kyle has been admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Kentucky, the United States

Carole Brown
Ms. Brown attended SUNY College at Cortland. While an undergraduate student, Ms. Brown received an unprecedented
number of awards and accolades, was admitted to five honor societies and received two prestigious scholarships. She
graduated four years later magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology,
a minor in Economics and a teaching certificate for Secondary Social Studies.
Ms. Brown then attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Law. In her first
year she was asked by the Dean of the School of Law to assist the Dean in her research for a book which was later published.
Immediately after graduation, Ms. Brown accepted a position with a law firm in Greenville, NC specializing in family law.
Ms. Brown took the North Carolina and the South Carolina Bar Exams the same week and passed both with high results and is
admitted to practice in both states.
Ms. Brown then moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and opened a general practice law office. She has gained extensive experience
in both litigation and transactional law. Transactional services include real estate matters, both residential and commercial;
foreclosure; bankruptcy; business formation; consumer issues; and wills and trusts. Litigation matters consist primarily of
personal injury; employment and labor issues; construction issues and consumer disputes. Over the years Ms. Brown has argued
cases in both the state and federal courts and has associated with other attorneys and firms to assist as "of counsel" in
long-term complex cases. She has been heavily involved in numerous civil and legal organizations and has held various offices
of prominence on committees and associations.
