Larry Smith

Larry Smith is a consumer attorney, concentrating his practice in the areas of Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collections Practices violations. He was employed as an attorney at Krohn & Moss, Ltd. from 1999 through November of 2005. He left Krohn & Moss to become managing attorney of Larry P. Smith & Associates.

Mr. Smith has briefed and argued countless cases regarding consumer fraud and Fair Credit Reporting Act claims and has argued successfully in the appellate courts for the State of Illinois on consumer rights issues, and has argued before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Smith has tried over a dozen consumer fraud cases to verdict, 50 other cases to verdict in Illinois, Georgia and Wisconsin and has arbitrated over 700 cases. Mr. Smith was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1993 and has been admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. Mr. Smith earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 1993. He earned his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 1990.

David Marco

David Marco has devoted the majority of his professional career to the practice of consumer litigation. He has many years of litigation experience and currently represents consumers in cases arising out of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Illinois Consumer Fraud & Deceptive Business Practices Act and other related statutes. Mr. Marco has successfully briefed and argued myriad motions on a wide-range of issues, arbitrated countless cases, and tried many cases to verdict. He has also resolved countless cases by way of settlement.

Mr. Marco was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2000 and has been admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois and the Northern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Jovanna Longo

Jovanna Longo is a consumer attorney, concentrating her practice in the areas of Fair Debt Collections Practices violations, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Consumer Bankruptcies. She was employed as a law clerk and then an associate attorney at Consumer Law Center, Inc. from March, 2006 through November, 2007. After leaving Consumer Law Center to manage a practice in St. Louis, Missouri, she is now an associate attorney with Larry P. Smith & Associates.

Miss Longo has worked with hundreds of consumers on cases regarding collection harassment and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims, finding amicable resolutions via settlement in the vast majority. These cases include appeals to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the California Court of Appeals for the 6th Appellate District. Seamus Flaherty

Seamus Flaherty is a litigation attorney whose practice is concentrated in the areas of consumer, creditor, and debtor law. Mr. Flaherty specializes in protecting the rights of consumers under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Magnuson-Moss Act, and Wisconsin's Consumer Act and Lemon Law. He also helps homeowners defend against foreclosure actions and assists consumers seeking relief under the Bankruptcy Code.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Flaherty gained valuable behind-the-scenes experience clerking for federal judges at both the trial and appellate level. Following his time in the federal courts, he began practice in Madison, Wisconsin where he currently manages a law practice in addition to his work as an associate with Larry P. Smith & Associates.

Mr. Flaherty is admitted to practice before Wisconsin's state courts, as well as the Wisconsin Federal District Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Mr. Flaherty is a graduate of Ave Maria School of Law where he was a founding member of the school's Moot Court Board. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1999.

Cecille Doan

Cecille Doan has numerous experiences in consumer protection. She has represented consumers against banks and other credit institutions in the areas of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. She was an extern for the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Western District of Arkansas and has worked at Legal Aid of Arkansas.

Miss Doan has been admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 2009. She earned her juris doctorate at the University Of Arkansas Robert Leflar School Of Law in 2009. Throughout law school, she was distinguished on the Dean's List. She earned her B.S. degree in biochemistry and graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2000.

D. Elizabeth Quigley

D. Elizabeth Quigley has spent the majority of her legal career litigating personal injury cases. She worked for a large firm in Los Angeles where she handled cases from inception through all stages of discovery. She has successfully briefed and argued law and motion matters on a wide range of issues. She has arbitrated over 50 cases and resolved innumerable cases by way of settlement.

Ms. Quigley also spent a significant portion of her career in her own practice working with clients in the fields of corporate law, estate planning and general litigation matters.

Ms. Quigley was admitted to the California Bar in 1988 and the Nebraska State Bar in 2010. She earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1988. She earned her B.A. degree in Accounting from California State University Fullerton in 1985.

Tammy Hussin

Ms. Hussin graduated cum laude with her JD from Southwestern University School of Law in 1991, where she served as Note and Comment Editor on the Law Review Staff. Ms. Hussin has many years of litigation experience, having taken and defended depositions, tried cases and engaged in extensive motion practice. Ms. Hussin has also done transactional work, including securities transactions, IPO's and drafting of numerous contractual agreements.

Ms. Hussin is licensed to practice in the states of California, Michigan and Colorado. She is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of Colorado, as well as the Eastern, Northern, Western and Southern Federal District Courts of California. Ms. Hussin is an active member of the bar in all three states.

Ms. Hussin is also the author and publisher of "Sleep, Baby, Sleep," a popular e-book, and is the mother of 3 boys.

Jessica Foos

Jessica Foos is a consumer rights attorney and civil litigator in the state of Indiana. Throughout her 12 years of experience, Ms. Foos has provided a high degree of personal service and professionalism to her clients. An experienced advocate, Ms. Foos has helped her clients obtain many favorable outcomes through trial, arbitration and settlement.

Jessica received her juris doctor with Honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was named a Ruth Ilo Rowe Scholar and a recipient of the Chicago-Kent Merit Scholar award. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Sarah O'Loughlin

Mrs. O'Loughlin is a consumer attorney and manages consumer cases in the State of Kansas for Larry P. Smith & Associates. Before joining Larry P. Smith & Associates, Mrs. O'Loughlin represented clients in various matters including estate planning and income tax planning. In 2002, she was employed as a law clerk for the Consumer Protection Division of the Kansas Attorney General's office and, in 2003, she was employed as a law clerk for the Wichita, Kansas law firm of Fleeson, Gooing, Coulson & Kitch. Mrs. O'Loughlin also coached the Washburn University Mock Trial team from August 2002 through May 2004, eventually leading the team to the most successful season in Washburn's history.

Mrs. O'Loughlin was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 2007 and is also admitted to practice before the Kansas Federal District Court.

Mrs. O'Loughlin earned her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2006, where she also earned a Taxation Certificate. While earning her Juris Doctor, she represented clients through the Washburn Law Clinic, wrote for the Washburn Law Journal, and earned the American Board of Trial Advocates Award. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Business from Washburn University in 2001.

In addition to representing the rights of Kansas consumers, Sarah is an adjunct professor at the Colorado Technical University campus in North Kansas City, where she teaches a variety of classes including Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Business Law, American Government, and Public Administration. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Riverview Health Services, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps uninsured and underinsured clients obtain access to quality health care.
